Chief Executive Officer: Susan Boucher
Principals Australia is the professional learning arm of the four peak school principals associations in Australia. It brings together school leaders from all sectors, systems and levels of schooling at a national and local level.
Principals Australia is an incorporated body owned by the Australian Primary Principals Association (APPA), Australian Secondary Principals Association (ASPA), Catholic Secondary Principals Australia (CaSPA), and the Association of Heads of Independent Schools of Australia (AHISA).
Principals Australia is non-political. It has a clear mission: to support school principals and their associations in building effective, inspirational and sustainable leadership that leads the learning in schools, so that all children and young people may live fulfilling, productive and responsible lives.
Principals Australia has four main areas of focus. These are: leadership development; school community wellbeing; closing the gaps between learning and wellbeing outcomes for Indigenous and other Australians; and engagement with the national education agenda.
